Parents, Guardians, and the Seitz Elementary Community,
It is my pleasure to welcome you to Seitz Elementary School, home of the Dragons. Although this is my first year at Seitz it is my 36th year in education and 14th year as a principal. Even with my many years of experience as an educator I continue to feel the excitement and enthusiasm of a new school year. As we work together as a school community, staff, families, and students, I am confident all our students will grow exponentially both academically and socially.
Our focus this year will be on students making keep-up and catch-up growth in reading and math, consistent, outstanding attendance and re-engaging our connection with our community post pandemic.
All USD 475 schools will continue to follow the recommendations of the county health department and the CDC in its response to COVID protocols. More details can be found in our Community Guide.
I encourage you to visit our website to become familiar with the Community Guide, USD 475 Code of Conduct, and our plentiful Covid support documents. Also, you can follow us on Facebook and Instagram. I encourage you to get involved in our Booster Club, volunteer opportunities, and community events and am looking forward to an action packed, fun filled school year. Do not hesitate to contact the school if you have any questions.
