We are always excited to welcome new and returning families to Seitz Elementary! The staff at Seitz and USD 475 work hard to plan instruction that is just what your child needs, whether it be additional support to reach their grade level standards or challenge to advance beyond the standards. We will continue to strive for a high level of academic rigor while maintaining a welcoming, safe learning environment.

USD 475 will be offering free in-person summer learning opportunities for students at specific campuses this summer.
The National FFA Organization announced this week that Junction City High School FFA Chapter and agriculture teachers Laura Miller and Ashley Vahsholtz have been named National FFA Teacher Ambassadors for the 2025-26 school year.
Geary County Schools USD 475 will be serving free lunch to any student, one to 18 years of age, during the month of June, beginning on Monday, June 2 and running through Monday, June 30, at Milford Elementary, Seitz Elementary and Lincoln Elementary.
It was a special Sunday in Geary County Schools USD 475 as Junction City High School had 416 seniors receive their diplomas at the 2025 Commencement Ceremony.
Marie Hammers, a third-grade teacher at Seitz Elementary, has been able to foster a love for learning in her classroom during the 2024-25 school year.
Elyse Nguyen, a 2021 Junction City High School graduate, has definitely made the most of her time as a student at Yale University. She will graduate from Yale, one of the most prestigious universities in the world, with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology on Monday, May 19.
