We are always excited to welcome new and returning families to Seitz Elementary! The staff at Seitz and USD 475 work hard to plan instruction that is just what your child needs, whether it be additional support to reach their grade level standards or challenge to advance beyond the standards. We will continue to strive for a high level of academic rigor while maintaining a welcoming, safe learning environment.

The Geary County Schools USD 475 communications department received three state awards from the Kansas School Public Relations Association, including one “Award of Excellence” honor for its efforts in telling the stories and accomplishments of USD 475’s students and staff during the 2024-25 school year.

Geary County Schools USD 475 has earned recognition from the Kansas State Department of Education for the 2024-25 school year in the following areas: Social-Emotional Growth, Kindergarten Readiness, Individual Plan of Study, Civic Engagement and Academically Prepared for Postsecondary.
