Seitz Elementary's third grade curriculum is designed to provide students with a strong foundation in key academic subjects. At this level, students are introduced to more complex topics in math, science, social studies, and language arts. In math, they develop an understanding of multiplication and division, fractions, and measurement. In science, they learn about the earth, the solar system, and the basics of physical science. Social studies covers topics ranging from government and citizenship to geography and history. Language arts focuses on reading comprehension, fluency, vocabulary development, and writing skills. Third grade students also participate in physical education, music, art, and technology classes. Overall, Seitz Elementary's third grade program is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed in the years to come.
