Junction City High School seniors Cole Nelson and John Pickler were named semifinalists in the 70^th annual National Merit® Scholarship Program on Wednesday.

Schools throughout the district will participate in Freedom Walks on Patriot Day, which occurs on Wednesday, Sept. 11, in memory of those who lost their lives in 2001.

The 2024 Geary Community Schools Foundation Major Saver Card Fundraiser is set to begin on Thursday, Sept. 5.
